Removal and application:
Firstly, remove the image from the packaging. to release the image from the backing sheet, simply hold corners (image facing up) and roll across the sharp edge of a table top, slowly working in from all sides towards the centre.
When the image is placed onto the iced cake, ensure the icing is still moist or sticky. It is this moisture in the icing that will ensure the image blends with the cake.
Gently smooth on to the cake surface with your hand to remove air bubbles. For best results it is ideal if the top of the cake is relatively smooth.
Product performs best on fudge or butter icing (icing sugar, butter, milk/water and vanilla flavour). For best results image should be used within 12 hours of application to the cake. Can also be used on rolled icing, after slightly moistening the surface.
Using product on mock or fresh cream is only recommended if applied to the cake immediately before serving as this type of topping tends to fade the face of the food colours (different results obtained for different toppings)
NOTE: Do not store in refrigerator. Store at room temperature. While not in use, keep sealed in a zip sealed plastic bag.
